As you know, this week we are focusing on identifying the author's purpose for writing this week. I found a very neat video on YouTube that might help.

I also found two great websites that would be great for practice with author's purpose at home! (These texts may be difficult for 3rd grade students and should be completed with a parent reading them orally.)
