Week 18 and 19: Frindle

Dear Parents and Students,

Fifth grade language arts teacher, Mrs.Granger, is known around the school as a tough teacher. On the first day of class, a student named Nick tries to trick Mrs.Granger into not giving the students homework. Unfortunately, not only does Nick get homework but he receives an extra assignment for his behavior in the classroom. I really enjoyed this story as I read it; I just know that you will too.

You will find a few resources to help you as you study this week and next. Feel free to double click on them to make them larger or print them off to study.

Due to our snow day this week and the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday next Monday, we will be reading and working on the skill from Frindle for this week and next, but we will have additional Daily Oral Language and Daily Geography next week.

It's going to be a great week!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Telford
