Week 9: The Ch'i-lin Purse

Dear Students and Parents,
Here we are on the second week of the The Ch'i-lin Purse. It is such a wonderful folktale from China. It warmed my heart and gave me chill bumps. This might just be my favorite story in our 5th grade readers.

Announcements/Reminders:
1. We are raising money from breast cancer awareness. This is totally optional, but students may wear jeans everyday during the week by donating $2.00 towards the fundraiser, or they may pay $0.50 for each day that they would like to wear jeans.


2. The Gator Gala (for all students earning 30 Gator Bites) or more will be on Tuesday, the 19th.
